Dr. David Shih is a professor of Asian American literature at the University of Wisconsin Eau Clair, where he also teaches critical race studies. He earned his MFA in fiction from the University of Oregon, and his PhD from the University of Michigan. David’s writing on race has been published widely inside and outside of the academy, including in Newsweek, Electric Literature, and Inside Higher Ed. He has been interviewed for All Things Considered, among other NPR programs.
